DBT Adult Program

We provide DBT “by the book” the way it was designed and proven effective. Learn how to manage intense emotions, navigate interpersonal challenges, and build a life worth living. This program includes weekly individual therapy, a weekly skills class and telephone skills coaching as needed.

General Information

Our DBT Adult Program includes weekly individual therapy and a weekly skills class.

DBT Network of Utah currently offers three adult DBT skills classes. The goal of these classes is to help individuals learn new skills to replace ineffective behaviors and improve their quality of life. The skills class is 14 months long, separated into two 7 month sections.

Classes are open for new members at the beginning of every module. Class size is limited to 9 members.

Since we strive to offer the researched based DBT program, clients interested in joining the skills class must be in individual DBT therapy with a therapist in our network or a therapist that is currently attending a DBT Consultation Team and is willing to offer skills coaching to the client.
